DATA PROJECTORS:
All rooms will have a data projector and speakers except for HERITAGE 2. Therefore, the following sessions scheduled for this room will not have a data projector: Critical Conversation with Geoff Masters, Tips for New Staff & Chairs of Faculty meeting.
WIRELESS NETWORK:
We will have access to the wireless network at the Mantra Resort. Information regarding usernames and passwords to connect to the network will be available at Lorne.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE:
Our Head of Technical Services, Greg, will be attending to assist staff with any technical issues such as connecting to data projectors, wireless network, etc… Please feel free to ask Greg for assistance.
SESSION ORGANISATION:
Please note that all sessions run for 45 minutes. It is important that we keep to the scheduled times to ensure that we are ready to leave at 2:30pm. Therefore, if you are presenting with other staff, please ensure that you are all aware of your starting and finishing times.
It is a good idea to have an external copy of your presentation files on a USB stick. To avoid changing over notebook computers during your presentation, you may wish to use one computer and copy the other files across.
For the 2008 Curriculum Projects session with Stephen M, Maria and Clarice, could we please ask that Stephen makes his presentation for the first 15 minutes as he is then required at the Critical Conversations session.
SHARING YOUR RESOURCES:
If you have any notes, slides, etc… that you wish to share, please feel free to email them to Lucy for inclusion on this site either before or after the Lorne Staff Days. Thank you to staff who have already forwarded resources.
We look forward to seeing you at Lorne!
